DOB: 2/29/2016 LA: VV+V 87 ADGAgenetics Pedigree
For Sale: $600 in milk
Daisy is small (well within the height limit), but structurally correct with a high escutcheon, strong chest, and overall refinement.
Daisy's mother Daffodil, took 2nd place in the 3 year old class at ADGA Nationals in 2011. She has a high test day of 3.8 lbs.
Daisy's sire, Helios is sired by Incredible Hunk, who had many daughters who excelled in milk production and in the show ring, including GCH Dragonfly IH Peregrine who took Reserve Grand Champion at ADGA Nationals in 2016.
Helios' dam, Topaz won the 2011 ADGA Nationals as Grand Champion.
Helios himself sired GCH Dragonfly HEL Sulis who got an LA of 90VEVE and a high test day of 5.5 lbs.
Daisy has not been shown, but we hope to do that this summer. She just freshened for the second time with a smooth fore-udder and wide rear-attachments and another set of quads. High test for last year was 2.9 lbs. This year, at 4 weeks fresh, she is already milking 2.7 lbs.
Last spring, she developed lameness in one front leg. I have been told it is probably a mineral imbalance or too much alfalfa, which I have been trying to correct. She can run and has no trouble fighting the other goats away from the feed bunk. She is friendly and trained to the milk stand.
If she doesn't sell, I plan to get her out in the show ring this year.
